Plotting Graphs

To plot a graph without you knowing the x and y points, you will need to find it FROM THE EQUATION YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN.

For example:

y=2x-4

if (y=0) => 0=2x-4
            => 4=2x
            => 4/2=2x/2
            => x=2

if (x=0) => y=2(0)-4
            => y= -4

Thus, the points on the graph will be (2,0) and (0,-4).
